So, on that note, here a pictures from the last 9 days:
Matt's parents came down to visit last weekend. I think this picture is so sweet and so funny. And so typical. All the boys (even Levi) talking about the latest gadget or gidget or whatever.
My little cross-eyed iPhone lover
My mom sent us a Valentines day package and it had this little sleeping bag for Levi. He loves it! He drags it around by it's ears and then will lay down and snuggle with that big dog head. On a different note, he LOVES Sesame Street now. Well, "Ste" as he calls it. Whenever I turn the tv on he'll start smiling and saying "ste" over and over. He now says "cookie" a lot. It's so funny because he says it (well, he's trying to) like Matt did in that video I posted.
We play outside almost all day long. And that is rain or shine, hot or cold. He loves it, and I love not having to clean up the play room all the time. He loves dandelions. He tried to copy me and blow all the seeds off, but he ended up taking a bite of it every time. Which is hilarious to watch, but not sustainable. So now he shakes off the seeds. Which is cute, and more boyish anyways, right?
The front door is always locked but he is determined that one of these days he'll be able to open it. Keep trying buddy.
I found this car at a yard sale for $5. Best 5 dollars I have spent on him as he loves this car. And I sit in the beach chair and watch him go all over the place. It's a great set up.
Every night after dinner he gets a small amount of water or milk in a "grown up cup." Just to slowly get him used to them/he loves this part of dinner. He smiles like he just climbed Everest when he finishes it. Such a sweet boy.
He also loves to help. He hands cashiers credit cards (usually it's my Panera rewards card, but he'll never know), hands the Sam's Club lady our receipt on the way out the door, and loves to unload the dishwasher and sweep. I love it and am trying to encourage the little bits of helpfulness.
But I still laugh at things like this where he just can not figure out why he can't fit through the doorway. Poor kid, he tried for at least 2 minutes before he gave up. One day buddy...
Well I am off to a 2 night women's retreat this afternoon. I am excited and am going to miss my little man and Matt. Have a great weekend.
