Noah had his 6 month doctor's appointment on Friday. I have always thought he seemed really BIG. I was wrong. He was 50% on height, 25% on weight and head circumference. Levi was 80, 30, and 90% at that age. I guess I was wrong, but I thought Noah was bigger. Anyways. Here is Levi being so sweet. He drank his juice, played with his cars, and "helped hold Noah" while the doctor checked him out. Since then, whenever we pass by the doctor's office Levi says "Noah get shots mama? There Noah's doctor." How quickly he forgets when it was him screaming on the table...
My mobile little one who I can barely get a picture of nowadays.
On Sunday night, our amazing youth group had the sweetest, most humbling goodbye for me. They had a cake, everyone had signed a card, Anthony and Sarah both talked for a bit about me, and then those beautiful kids took turns praying for me and my family. I stood and silently wept as these saints prayed for us. I will never, ever forget that moment. A small piece of heaven on earth.
The food team. We have been working together for almost two years.
Noah in the nursey with his buddy Zeph.
At first we put our tv in here with the mattress. The couch and chair are out in the garage with everything we own but enough clothes for the next three days and our top mattresses. After an hour, we moved that table and mattress out in the garage and now we have the TV on the floor in our bedroom. Matt and I have not had a TV in our room since we've been married, and we love it, but totally understand why we shouldn't have one. It's all we do now, watch TV. And Levi loves laying in our bed and watching TV too.
Levi's room on Sunday. I had packed almost everything but a few toys that were in an untaped box. During nap time he got out of his "bed" and spread that one box of toys all over his room. Needless to say he has not napped well since we packed up all of his bed...
Our garage. We get the Uhaul truck tomorrow. We have moved a lot over the last five years and have always rented Uhauls and just loaded our stuff and then unloaded it. It's weird how many people have been shocked we do it that way and don't hire a moving service. I didn't realize hiring a moving service was so popular, seems like a waste of money to me.
Our room/living central. This is where we all converge for right now. We eat, play, and hangout in here.
Matt and I are exhausted and there is so much to be done in the next few days. A couple more boxes to be packed, and then the Uhaul loaded. Tomorrow is my last day of work at the pharmacy after 5 years. It is so hard to believe. There will definitely be some tears.

I thought the same thing about hiring movers but now the thought of moving with 2 young kids makes me run away and hide.
Woah! These pics make it all real! YOU ARE MOVING!!! Craziness!! ...We have always moved ourselves too. Next time though, I dont know what we will do. Our bedroom furniture is big and the piano has to be taken apart (legs pulled off, etc.) I can totally see the value in just letting someone else do it while I go about my happy little tasks! ha!
such sweet pics of the youth and you. I know you made a huge impact in those young lives. I can see their love for you in that picture. :) I hope moving goes well. I'll be in town 3 weekend in Feb. Hope to see you!!!
