Noah did too
Sarah called after dinner and asked if Levi could go with them for a NYE outing. So they took Levi and their three boys to McDonalds for ice cream and played in the playground. When Sarah came to pick him up, Levi was so excited! He just happily waved goodbye to me and Matt and started talking to all her boys.
When they got back from McDonalds, the Brogans came here and we used our birthday supplies and sparkling grape juice to toast the New Year at 8 pm. The boys were watching Star Wars here:
And since we weren't out getting wild and crazy, our "treat" was Sangria. I made Peach Blackberry Sangria and it was AMAZING!
While our NYE didn't involve tons of people or dancing, it was wonderful. We were able to ring in the new year (at 8pm) with some wonderful friends, and we had such a great evening together (the Sangria helped). Here is to 2013. It is going to be a year of change. We know going in that it is going to be difficult, but we are going to be facing it all together!

Sounds like a perfect evening to me! Happy New Years and will be praying you guys through all the changes!
happy new year! we actually stayed up to watch the ball drop and I think the only reason is that we hung out with friends who dont have kids. that's my personal accomplishment for new year's - staying up way past my bedtime :) and with no drinking involved.
